SUMMARY: Yard Spotter – Class A CDL driver, is responsible for providing and removing trailers from the shipping dock and insure trailers are kept running at the correct temperature while sitting on the lot.

• Moves trailers from the dock doors to drop yard, moves warehouse trailers as needed, moves icepack trailers as needed.
• Must maintain a safe working environment.
• Inspects trailer and document condition.
• Work closely with incoming drivers and direct them to the proper door for loading and unloading.
• Must maintain ALL trailers under lock and key while setting on the lot.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on yard truck/tractor each day and report any issues.
• Safely back in and pull out Trailers as needed.
• Must be willing to work other shifts if needed.
• Must be able to operate a Manual CMV.

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience: Class A CDL License with 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
