Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications Position Summary

This is skilled technical work at a journeyman level involving operating, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing: plumbing systems and components, steam and hot water boiler equipment, other gas-fired equipment and fire protection systems. This includes systems in building as well as utility service: water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and gas distribution systems.

Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

Operate, troubleshoot, repair and install steams and HW boilers, furnaces and associated equipment.

Percentage of time 40 Duties/Responsibilities

Operate, troubleshoot, repair and install: building plumbing systems, related equipment and utility services (gas, water, sewer).

Percentage of time 40 Duties/Responsibilities

Interact with customers via phone and in person to coordinate work.

Percentage of time 10 Duties/Responsibilities

Prepare work related documents (work orders, vouchers, reports, purchase request, etc.)

Percentage of time 5 Duties/Responsibilities

Other duties as needed by supervisors.
