PLUMBER

Position Summary

This is skilled technical work at a journeyman level involving operating, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing: plumbing systems and components, steam and hot water boiler equipment, other gas-fired equipment and fire protection systems. This includes systems in building as well as utility service: water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and gas distribution systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience

• Operate, troubleshoot, repair and install steams and HW boilers, furnaces and associated equipment. (40%)
• Operate, troubleshoot, repair and install building plumbing systems, related equipment and utility services (gas, water, sewer). (40%)
• Interact with customers via phone and in person to coordinate work. (10%)
• Prepare work related documents (work orders, vouchers, reports, purchase request, etc.). (5%)
• Other duties as needed by supervisors. (5%)
• Drive and operate company vehicle as needed.
