Responsibilities
  • Clean seed of sorghum, millet and other crops using seeding cleaning equipment.
  • Count, weigh, and package seed samples for long term cold storage.

  • Position Summary:

    This position is needed to assist in the cleaning and processing of seed samples for various crops.
Qualifications
  • Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position:
    High School Graduate
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or

    Competencies:

    Experience preferred in seed cleaning using lab equipment including seed blowers and screens. Experience preferred in counting and weighing seed samples using a lab scale and packaging seed according to seed inventories.
Physical Demands
  • Heavy lifting (50 lbs) and working in hot environments (greenhouse and seed lab) and cold environments (cold rooms and freezers).
