Position Summary
The Catering Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of catering operations, from business development and sales strategy to seamless event execution. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, sales-focused, and dedicated to creating exceptional client experiences while cultivating a positive team culture.
This position offers a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, along with a lucrative, uncapped commission structure tied to catering sales. For a results-driven individual, this role provides substantial earning potential, allowing you to significantly exceed your base salary as you drive the brand's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities for corporate events, private parties, weddings, and other special occasions.
- Develop strategies to meet and exceed financial targets.
- Client Relations:
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and event planners.
- Ensure seamless service and satisfaction from inquiry to event execution.
- Event Coordination:
- Oversee logistics, ensuring top-tier quality, flawless execution, and outstanding presentation.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and manage the catering sales team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement improvement plans.
- Strategic
Collaboration: - Work with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and event packages.
- Partner with culinary teams to proactively address event requirements.
- Oversee invoicing, payment processing, and inventory management for efficiency.
- Represent the company at sales events and industry networking opportunities.
- Monitor client feedback to enhance service quality.
- Proven success in sales within catering, events, or hospitality.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management and revenue generation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with event planning tools and Microsoft Office.
- High-volume event sales and strategic partnership experience preferred.
