Merchandising Sales Associate

The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to execute tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support merchandise and fixture assembly and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise dictated by business needs.
• Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
• Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts accurately.
• Complete store price changes and hang signage such as Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and deliver exceptional customer service following GURA principles:
  Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
• Ensure customers have a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from competitors.
• Provide peak coverage as needed, e.g., DAT, and perform other duties as assigned.

Experience in retail or merchandising is required; farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. Must be 18+ years old. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.

• Indoor and outdoor work with moderate noise, generally on hard surfaces.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
• Adherence to safety guidelines is required.

• Ability to move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Frequent standing, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and climbing ladders.
• Effective communication skills and ability to complete training.
