Position Summary
Research faculty level position with the potential for promotion in a leading lab at the interface of organic chemistry and chemical biology. The successful candidate is expected to perform high level research, help oversee and guide an active research team, and actively participate in grant and manuscript writing.
Minimum QualificationsPhD in chemistry or a related field.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or CompetenciesWe seek a skilled chemist with a record of success in state‑of‑the‑art, stereo controlled organic/organometallic synthesis who, ideally, is also familiar with modern molecular biology, protein expression, and characterization. The candidate is expected to have an excellent publication and grantsmanship record in chemistry or a related field.
Duties / ResponsibilitiesConduct cutting‑edge research in organic chemistry and chemical biology, mentor graduate students and postdoctoral scholars, develop and manage grant proposals, and publish research findings in peer‑reviewed journals.
