Position OverviewThis position serves as a lab manager/research technician for Dr. Anumantha G Kanthasamy's research lab in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology. The lab conducts NIH-funded research on neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory mechanisms related to Parkinson’s disease and neurological disorders, focusing on biomarker discovery and testing therapeutics in preclinical models.
Responsibilities- Technical knowledge in the field (apprenticeship, 2-year degree, or professional certificate).
- Experience or willingness to handle rodents.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work with protective gear.
- Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule.
- Salary negotiable.
