- Primary responsibilities will include management and implementation of tissue engineering studies in the Harbor Lights Laboratory.
The postdoctoral associate will conduct research on a pre-specified project as well as ones of their own design and publish that research. The postdoc will take on senior responsibilities like research mentoring, grant writing, and publishing. The postdoc will coordinate and manage day-to-day research activities in the laboratory. A research leader with background in biomaterials and cell biology is needed to manage and coordinate activities in the laboratory.
Qualifications- Applicants must have a Ph.D., or equivalent degree, with a background in Bioengineering or Cell Biology, or a related area of science.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or
Competencies:
Familiarity with biomaterials and cellular engineering; preferred knowledge of molecular genetics, biochemical, histological and immunological techniques to examine factors affecting cell behaviors on biomaterial substrates. - Physical Demands:
