- Rapidly identify and count small insects under stereo microscope magnification.
- Assist with insect colonies, plant seeds/seedlings, and other duties related to entomological research.
- Process samples (either frozen or in alcohol) in scheduled time each week when collected and stored.
- Check colonies and the plants that maintain them twice weekly.
- Participate in weekly lab meeting to determine other duties.
