  • Harvest fruit from various vegetable crops (25%)
  • Extract seed from the harvested fruit (25%)
  • Treat, clean, count, and package seed (50%)

Position Summary

This part-time position is needed to assist with vegetable curation. This position will assist with harvesting fruit from various vegetable crops in the field and greenhouse; extracting seed from the harvested fruit; cleaning and packaging of seed, and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Prefer experience working with plants or in agriculture.

Physical Demands

Work under hot conditions in the field and greenhouse. Lift 50 pounds. Work involves cleaning pepper seed – some of which are very pungent.
