Duties & ResponsibilitiesSpecific tasks include rapidly identifying and counting small insects under stereo microscope magnification, assisting with insect colonies, planting seeds/seedlings and other duties related to entomological research.
When samples (either frozen or in alcohol) are collected and in storage, the samples will be processed during scheduled time each week. Colonies and the plants that maintain these colonies need to be checked twice weekly. Other duties will be determined in a weekly lab meeting.
