Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Master’s degree in a related field

Experience:

3-5 years of related professional experience

Licenses/Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

UHC Minimum:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; possession of a license as a Registered Professional Nurse issued by the State of Georgia.
  • Completion of a master’s degree level nurse practitioner program with certification as a Nurse Practitioner as recognized by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS Certification
  • 3-5 years College Health experience
Position Summary

This clinical position delivers age appropriate primary care to eligible members of the University Community at the University of Georgia Health Center. The Health Center is a large multi-specialty ambulatory care organization that is accredited by the Joint Commission. Nurse practitioners are members of the medicals staff whose protocol agreement is to provide age-appropriate primary health care in the form of prevention, health education, promotion of wellness, assessment and treatment.
