Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab at Trinity Health
Employment Type: Full time
Shift: Day Shift (7a – 5:30p with call, 4 10‑hour week‑day shifts)
Description: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab RN works in a collaborative environment y’s Health Care System to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The RN facilitates all aspects of the patient visit experience and provides care through the nursing process, technology, and teamwork.
Responsibilities- Provide patient assessment, including developing, evaluating, and modifying care plans.
- Perform complex cardiac cath lab procedures and interpret clinical data under limited supervision.
- Act as a member of the Care and Support Teams, working collaboratively to achieve patient outcomes outlined in the pathway/plan of care.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of a designated group of patients for a specified time frame.
- Deliver therapeutic care using nursing skills, technology, and effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Current RN license in the State of Georgia.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program recognized by the Georgia Board of Nursing or deemed equivalent.
- Completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
- Prior experience in Cardiac Care preferred; experience in PACU or Critical Care acceptable.
- BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
