Filling Technician

Pay rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hr

Hours:

Nights 2-2-3 rotation, 5:45pm- 6:15am

Location:

Athens, GA
Duration: 1 year, with possibility for temp to hire

Summary:

The basic purpose of this role is to perform any process/support duties associated with the automated filling of vaccines. The Technician I, Filling Athens works within the filling department as a team member to ensure success in the activities associated with the safe and sterile preparation of vaccines

Duties:

• Performs filling and support production activities.
• Operates relevant department equipment in appropriate manner and in accordance with requirements.
• Ensures all equipment and facilities are maintained.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Completes all associated documentation in compliance with requirements.
• Demonstrates sound aseptic technique.
• Performs inventory transactions.
• Monitors Key Performance Indicators to strive for improved performance.
• Communicates process needs and progress to colleagues and supervisor.
• Escalates events and concerns to supervisor.
• Demonstrates a visible & tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and the company Values in all work-related activities.
• In addition to the above, other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope.

Education / Skills/

Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
one(1) year relevant experience OR B.S. degree
