- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience.
- Experience with state-wide projects focused on training and education, including work with state and local units of government, subcontractors, and systems change projects in human services.
The Program Coordinator position facilitates a six-pronged training and assistance project for disability providers in Georgia. Core responsibilities include in-state implementation of this complex scope of work across all six DBHDD regions, planning, developing, and implementing Community Access training programs for staff working with people with developmental disabilities. The coordinator manages day‑to‑day aspects, ensures compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, maintains positive relationships with sponsors, sub‑awardees, and providers, and coordinates with Business Managers to monitor budgets and track expenditures, developing reports to track outcomes and inform continuous improvement.
Knowledge,Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
- Project management experience in social services or related fields, with implementation experience related to complex scopes of work.
- Strong background in program development and management within social work or behavioral health settings statewide.
- Experience working with human service providers, staff, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship management skills to foster collaboration among a variety of groups.
- Demonstrated administrative experience including documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of evidence‑based principles and practices applicable to the target population.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners across the state.
- Experience hosting virtual communities of practice involving front‑line staff, supervisors, advocates, regional personnel and trainers.
- Lift boxes weighing up to 5 pounds.
- Driving as needed to perform job duties.

Duties / Responsibilities Program Management- Implement state‑wide scope of work that includes training, technical assistance, and evaluative feedback in the six DBHDD regions.
- Work with eight disability providers under an intensive systems‑change effort.
- Manage mandatory training for all disability organizations, encompassing around 300 providers.
- Plan, develop, and implement Community Access training programs tailored to staff working with people with developmental disabilities in all six DBHDD regions.
- Communicate and plan with sub‑awardees (UMass‑Boston and NASDDS).
- Coordinate with Business Managers to track workplans, budgets, and programmatic outcomes of sub‑awardees.
- Coordinate with Business Managers to monitor program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure efficient resource allocation for sub‑awards.
