Position Summary

Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters. Complete paperwork associated with assignments. Follow written and verbal instructions as given by supervisory personnel. Occasional bus washing and other non‑driving tasks are needed from time to time. Will submit to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the US Department of Transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters (80%)
  • Wash buses and perform other non‑driving related duties as needed from time to time (10%)
  • Complete paperwork associated with assignments (5%)
  • Attend safety meetings as occasionally scheduled (5%)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies

Ability to demonstrate a safe driving record, good communications skills, and the ability to work with other people of various backgrounds and skill levels.

Physical Demands

Sitting for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Driving.
