IT Manager – Networking and Security

Must have

• Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in information technology
• Proficiency in advanced systems management and technical support
• Fluent in active directory, group policy, desktop management, and server administration
• Familiarity with federal compliance standards like FERPA, HIPAA, and PCI
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with cloud services such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Competence in leading enterprise service planning and maintaining operational agreements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven track record in project management and team leadership

• Lead the Franklin OIT Systems Management team to meet the college's strategic vision
• Oversee multiple complex projects with financial accountability and stakeholder coordination
• Supervise, mentor, and support team members in their professional development
• Provide technical support for faculty, staff, and college back-end services
• Consult on diverse IT services, including server hosting and budgeting for grants
• Represent Franklin OIT in various college and campus initiatives
• Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal guidelines
• Work collaboratively with information security and other campus groups
• Foster innovation and contribute to the establishment of IT standards and practices
