Position SummaryThis professional position is responsible for providing project management services and coordination during the planning, implementation, monitoring, and completion of projects, that includes technical knowledge of application development, systems integration, and software development lifecycle. Clearly and professionally communicate objectives, progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.

- Create detailed project plans that consider schedules, dependencies, institutional priorities, and resource limitations.
- Coordinate efforts of project teams to facilitate cooperation and prevent delays.
- Develop and maintain standard project management documentation such as project charters, plans, timeline visuals, risk registers, issues logs, meeting agendas and summaries, and project status reports.
- Proactively oversee project execution by following up on task completion, reporting potential delays to management, and coordinating problem resolution in the event of technical difficulties.
- Focus on Finance & Administration/UHR Data Strategy projects and tasks.
- Coordinate technical projects that require knowledge of application development, systems integration, and the software development lifecycle.
- Manage application development and system integration projects through software design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Utilize best practices for continuous improvement and industry standards, including Dev Ops methodologies.
- Assist project teams in software evaluation, procurement, and vendor management processes.
- Develop and maintain various systems analysis documentation to capture data flow, system architecture, specifications, and quality assurance information.
- Lead or attend regular meetings to update leadership, staff, clients, and the UGA community on project progress.
- Convey project team questions, updates, or concerns to leadership in a timely manner.
- Respond to inquiries about project details from leadership and project team members promptly.
- Develop and facilitate formal presentations to project stakeholders when needed.
- Coordinate communications between functional and technical teams.
- Utilize standard status reporting templates and tools such as scorecards, dashboards, and other visuals to represent project progress.
