High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications Position SummaryThis position is responsible for prepping and maintaining the introductory, instructional biology laboratory sections. This includes but is not limited to: daily maintenance of multiple instructional laboratory sections (several days each week), setting up and breaking down laboratory materials, ordering, preparing, and culturing laboratory materials.
This position involves use of a P-Card.
Excellent organization skills. Ability to work independently and trouble shoot problems. Good interpersonal skills and collaborative attitude. Knowledge of molecular biology techniques, basic computer skills.
Physical DemandsModerate lifting of lab equipment. Hand-eye coordination needed to work culturing organisms under microscopes. Driving to perform job related duties.
