Overview
Evaluates and treats pediatric patients referred by a licensed physician in accordance with the Practice Act for the State of Georgia. Applies a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech-language, oral motor, and hearing disorders. Performs specialized evaluations for dysphagia. Complies with hospital policies and supports the mission and values of the hospital.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients referred by a licensed physician in accordance with state practice acts.
- Apply a wide range of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech-language, oral motor, and hearing disorders.
- Perform specialized evaluations for dysphagia.
- Comply with hospital policies and support the mission and values of the hospital.
- Licensed by the Georgia State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Master’s degree from an ASHA-accredited program and licensed to practice by the Georgia State Board.
- Broad experience across a variety of clinical settings through ASHA-accredited clinical internship programs.
