Direct coordination of respiratory care educational services for the department and the community.

• Develop and maintain educational programs for staff
• Act as an affiliate faculty member for respiratory schools
• Serve as a liaison between respiratory care services and other departments in education and clinical issues
• Oversee orientation and new onboarding employees
• Assist with training in infection control and other educational programs
• Serve as an RRT in the workload as needed

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Required)

• 5 years clinical experience (Required)
• 2 years specialty of Clinical Education (Preferred)

• RCP - Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner Georgia State License (Required)
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist (Required)
• BCLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
• ACLS (Required)
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required)

• Skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Team building
• Skill in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to teach within the area of expertise
• Ability to work with providers, administrative, and clinical staff to achieve departmental goals
