This is a full-time, on-site role for a Direct Support Professional located in the Athens Metropolitan Area. The role involves providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting their daily living needs, and promoting their independence. Tasks include helping with personal care, implementing individual care plans, providing companionship, and assisting with activities and community engagement. The role may also involve documenting progress and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

• Experience in Human Services, particularly in assisting individuals with disabilities
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities for interacting with clients, families, and team members
• Knowledge or experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
• Ability to participate in Training and apply learned skills to support care and development
• A compassionate and patient approach with a focus on client dignity and independence
• High school diploma or equivalent; related certifications are a plus
• Reliable transportation to the work location and appointments
• Willingness to undergo background checks as required
