Cath Lab Manager

Position Purpose

Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab at St Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain productivity levels, schedule staffing, and serve as the point person for departmental recruitment and corrective action when necessary.
  • Work closely with the cardiologists to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the department director on strategic planning initiatives.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: RN (Registered Nurse) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and/or related experience required;
    Current BLS and ACLS thru American Heart Association is required.
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, Respiratory Program or Cardiovascular Program.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of five years in a Cardiac Cath Lab and two years in a Leadership/Management role; excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
