Position Information- Classification
Title:
Financial Analyst II - FLSA:
Exempt - FTE: 1.00
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications- 2+ years of professional accounting experience; preference to higher education, not-for-profit, or Foundation
- Experience creating, editing, and using Pivot Tables and formulas in Excel
- Experience creating financial reports and analyzing trends and variances
- Experience navigating and reporting on large data sets
- Experience with data analysis tools for presenting financial data
- Experience with an ERP accounting system
- Demonstrates behavior aligned with the University of Georgia mission and values
As part of the UGA Foundation’s Financial Accounting and Reporting team, this role provides financial reporting on data subsets to support management oversight. It works with the UGAF operating budget and other unrestricted resources, including reporting, projections, budget development, and financial analysis for clear reporting to management. Responsibilities include interim assurance and reconciliation reports, and assisting the Associate Director in managing two study-away properties with financial analysis for leadership decision making.
All duties support trust and treasury functions of the UGA Foundation.
