Minimum Qualifications Position Summary

Perform manual duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Basic computer skills to include proficiency with email correspondence.

3. Sufficient verbal communication skills needed to exchange effectively with supervisors, staff and residents.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Proven skills to write effectively and reading to accurately perform inventory functions.

Physical Demands

1. Lift and carry over 50 pounds, both assisted and unassisted.

2. Work overhead holding tools weighing up to 10 pounds.

3. Visual and spatial acuity to move large objects through narrow hallways in a safe manner.

4. Safely operate a UGA state vehicle as necessary.
