We are seeking an experienced and motivated
** Senior Plant Process Control Engineer
** to join our team in the
** first of its kind renewable SAF production plant**. This position plays a critical role in developing, implementing, and optimizing process control strategies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process control systems, process safety, and plant operations, with demonstrated leadership in managing automation projects and mentoring others.
* 5+ years of industrial experience as a control engineer in chemical, petroleum refining/petrochemical, or other closely related industry
* Proficiency with Allen Bradley platforms and Factory Talk software suite
* Strong understanding of process safety, control system lifecycle management, and project execution
* Demonstrated ability to lead investigations, implement improvements, and communicate technical information effectively (written and verbal).
* Familiarity with Plant
PAx architectures, advanced process control (APC), and cybersecurity best practices is preferred
* Hands-on experience with VFDs, network infrastructure, and instrument calibration preferred
* Background in control system obsolescence management and automation reliability strategies preferred
* Experience in operation and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems. Demonstrated experience with DCS and/or PLC systems
* Familiarity with control loop tuning, data historians, and interface with PLCs
* Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills including proficiency with both written and verbal technical communication
* Ability to work in a cross-functional, agile work environment
* Able to support a 24x7 chemical processing plant through design, construction, commissioning, and startup
* Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
