This role focuses on supporting final assembly operations for Small Track Type Tractors and Mini‑hydraulic Excavators and coordinating tooling, processes, and equipment development.
Job Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and support for the Manufacturing Engineering Team.
- Lead planning and manufacturing engineering efforts to achieve safety goals, capacity requirements, product cost and quality commitments.
- Drive line‑balance activities, line‑side inventory strategy, part kitting strategies and other lean initiatives to optimize the assembly process.
- Manage capital projects, monitor RFI approval, spend targets, and expense budgets for smaller projects.
- Ensure the 5‑year capital plan positions Assembly teams to meet long‑term PQVC objectives.
- Coordinate installation of new machines, equipment, and process changes to deliver efficient and economical assembly line processes.
- Optimize equipment and space utilization by coordinating the layout of storage, test equipment, and other necessary areas.
- Establish standards and collaborate with shop personnel to resolve issues related to assembly and equipment.
- Supervise a work unit of managers and salaried employees, overseeing planning, scheduling, monitoring, and review of subordinates.
- Act as a liaison between Product Design Engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Decision Making & Critical Thinking – strong ability to analyze situations and make productive decisions.
- Capacity Planning & Management – expertise in tools and practices to determine production demand and resource management.
- Lean Manufacturing – affine with Lean principles and ability to implement them within existing processes.
- Manufacturing Standards & Policies – knowledge of organizational standards, procedures, and compliance monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in final product assembly linesախտ 경험.
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in Logistics Engineering.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Project management experience.
Primary location:
Athens, GA.

Summary Pay Range: $97,530.00 – $
