Position Summary

The Department of Comparative Literature and Intercultural Studies at the University of Georgia invites applications for a Limited-term Instructor of Swahili to begin in August 2026. The course load is up to 12 credit hours per semester, primarily focusing on Swahili language and culture instruction. Responsibilities include teaching, attending African language program meetings, and monitoring students. Limited-term faculty may be renewed annually for a maximum of two years.

Any request for reappointment beyond the second year requires pre-approval by the Provost.
