- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent

This Academic Advisor I position within UGA’s College of Engineering is an entry‑level advising role supporting incoming and current Engineering undergraduate students in their academic pursuits. The advisor facilitates one‑on‑one advising sessions, understands degree requirements and university policies, provides general support related to student decision‑making, exploration, and development, and makes referrals as appropriate.
The role reports directly to the College of Engineering Director of Advising and manages a caseload of approximately 275–305 advisees. The advisor collaborates with other Academic Advisor I, II, and III advisors both independently and as part of the college advising team.
