This position is based in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and will act as a major gift officer for the college at‑large. Its purpose is to raise major gifts to support the Franklin College and the University of Georgia. The position focuses on gifts of $50,000 or more and maintains a robust portfolio of current and prospective donors capable of making meaningful philanthropic investments.
The role works collaboratively with all departments and institutes of the college and a wide variety of constituents. An established track record in building meaningful relationships and the ability to close philanthropic gifts are essential. This role works closely with other major and principal gift officers within the College and across the University to advance gift solicitation strategies. All work is carried out in accordance with UGA Foundation policies and procedures.
