Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 8 years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years professional experience in communications, content creation, or related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, academic environment.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation and comprehensive communication practices.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with a range of communications principles including messaging, writing, editing, graphic design, visual communications, branding, marketing, advertising, electronic communications, social media, and generative AI tools.
  • Ability to communicate technical content to a general audience and a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience working with business/industry, alumni engagement, and development initiatives.
  • Experience in a higher education, independent school, or nonprofit environment.
