Ensure that Spanish families are comfortable and aware of processes throughout their research experience. Spanish speaking lead will be accompanied by experienced research staff and is primarily responsible for communications with families.

Position Summary:

Lead research visits, on campus at the BIRC center, with Spanish speaking families.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:
  • Bilingual – Spanish/English, fluent speaking and reading
  • Preferred:
    Psychology, neuroscience, HDFS, biology, or related background
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or

Competencies:
  • Experience working with school age children and/or their families
  • Comfortable working with medically adjacent technologies (e.g., fMRI, fnirs, EKG)
