DescriptionThe University of Georgia Libraries seeks a creative, collaborative individual for the position of Digital Archivist. This faculty Librarian position reports to the Head of Digital Stewardship in Discovery and Digital Services. Responsibilities include accessioning and processing the Hargrett and Russell Libraries’ born-digital archival collections and supporting cross-department collaboration. The role involves engaging with the digital archiving community nationally and internationally through committee service and continuing education.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of Digital Stewardship, colleagues at the Special Collections Libraries, and others engaged in digital collections work within the Libraries.
