Duties/Responsibilities- Design and conduct research in infectious disease forecasting.
- Write scholarly articles and present research at CEID events and external meetings.
- Assist with collaborative projects, including the forecasting working group and CEID-initiated research proposals.
- Take a leadership role in an existing CEID working group or form a new group based on interests and CEID membership needs.

Post-Doctoral Associate AD - FLSA: Exempt
- Position Summary: The CEID Postdoctoral Scholar will serve as a scientist-in-residence, working on research projects with the CEID Infectious Disease Forecasting Working Group. They will write scholarly articles, seek publication in academic journals, and share findings at CEID events and external conferences when appropriate. They will have access to world-class faculty, a designated mentor, computational support, and opportunities to participate in CEID activities including workshops, seminars, and working groups.

Experience:
PhD in Ecology or related discipline relevant to infectious disease research; 0-6 years of Postdoctoral experience. - Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Candidates with strong quantitative skills and background in ecology, evolution, or infectious disease biology are encouraged to apply.
