Position SummaryThe Processing Specialist III (Temporary) is responsible to the Processing Archivist for processing collections from the Richard
B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies and providing public reference service. This position will focus on processing collections and additions that are less than twenty linear feet, making them discoverable for public research. The Special Collections Libraries are responsible for acquiring, preserving, and making available permanent historical records according to archival standards and procedures and for providing reference assistance to a variety of patrons.
This position has a limited-term appointment that is expected to end [1 year] after the start date. The position may be extended beyond the initial term, contingent upon continued funding.
