Bachelor’s degree in counseling or a related field and 2 years of professional experience

Masters degree

Assist in the development and implementation of all services related to academic planning, academic support, academic major and career counseling, academic monitoring and personal development for student‑athletes. Ensures compliance with NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules compliance in the area of academic counseling.

• Ability to monitor students progress and coordinate their class schedules, tutorial sessions, and development.
• Ability to communicate with coaches, students, tutors, and professors.
• Ability to provide academic support and counseling in regard to students’ courses and progress towards graduation.
• Strong communication skills
