Position Summary:

The Institute of Native American Studies at the University of Georgia, an interdisciplinary institute with affiliated faculty across departments, schools, and colleges, invites applications for the position of Director. The Director will be a tenured professor with a terminal degree in the applicant’s area of specialization and must be eligible for tenure upon hire.

The position’s tenure home is expected to be in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences; a courtesy or partial appointment may be considered pending qualifications in the Colleges of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Education, Environment and Design, Law, or Public Health and/or the Schools of Ecology, Forestry and Natural Resources, Law, or Public and International Affairs.
