Position Summary:
The College of Environment and Design (CED) at the University of Georgia invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track Assistant/Associate Professor focused on health and the built environment, broadly defined. The successful candidate will contribute to one or more of CED’s professional program areas—Historic Preservation, Landscape Architecture, or Urban Planning and Design—and will teach a variety of courses appropriate to their professional background, including lecture‑ and seminar‑based courses and, where relevant, design studios.
The position provides opportunities to connect with UGA’s emerging health initiatives, including the new Medical School, the new School of Nursing, and a forthcoming horticultural therapy certificate program.
Because this is a CED‑wide search, candidates’ specific teaching and research contributions will vary by professional program area.
