Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

At least three years of experience in educational projects designed to impact educationally non-traditional students

Position Summary

The position requires the person to manage the daily operation of three federally funded Upward Bound Programs, which involves performing general administrative duties; marketing services; supervising staff, recruiting, hiring and training staff; evaluating staff annually; overseeing all Upward Bound services provided to participants; established procedures to select middle and high school students for participation and verifying their eligibility; maintaining compliance with federal TRIO requirements;

and maintaining records in compliance with federal and University policies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
  • Experience and training in managing similar projects, higher education and supervising, maintaining budgets, written reports, and program evaluations.
  • Retention strategies and collegiate curriculum, terminology, and pivoting to online resources.
  • Ability to set goals, based on participant needs, individual group and virtual service delivery coordination.
