Customer Service Rep I – FLSA Non‑Exempt – FTE 1.00.

This position offers a 40‑hour work week. Typical schedules are 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday‑Friday, may include evenings and weekends.

Advertised Salary: $34,500/yr – $37,951/yr (commensurate with experience). Closing Date:
Proposed Starting Date 02/02/2026.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve customer issues and find solutions or alternatives in a timely manner.
  • Work as frontline cashier.
  • Assist Customer Relations customers with inquiries.
  • Process departmental orders.
  • Process appeal results.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers of all Auxiliary Services Units, guiding them through system processes and software applications.
  • Provide continuous feedback to management teams on process improvements that benefit customer satisfaction.
Administrative Duties (40 %)
  • Answer the switchboard – 5 lines.
  • Answer and/or assign all tickets via Team Dynamix.
  • Screen and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Prepare letters, reports, and records as assigned.
Other Duties (10 %)
  • Participate in department and campus‑wide activities associated with the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess in‑depth knowledge and experience of computers/data entry and working knowledge of Microsoft systems.
  • Attention to detail, good written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills to ensure exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to act calmly and take action in dynamic situations.
  • Experience utilizing Touch Net, FLEX, Team Dynamix, and data analysis software such as QLIK.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar customer service or administrative role.
  • Knowledge of auxiliary services or university operations.
Physical Demands
  • Lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Stand or sit for many hours.
