LocationAthens Area, Georgia
Salary$40,500 or commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities- Assist Concrete Masons with forming and placement of concrete and serve as a spotter during excavation activities.
- Assist with back filling and grading for curb, sidewalk, storm sewer installations, and utility repairs.
- Verify grade specifications for asphalt and concrete placement.
- Operate a dump truck and demonstrate moderate proficiency in the operation of heavy equipment including skid steers, backhoes, mini excavators, and breakers.
- Assist in hauling operations and support various trade-related tasks.
- Proficient in traffic control; set up and maintain barricades, cones, and temporary signage.
- Provide support across projects as needed, including assisting with snow and ice removal and clearing downed trees during inclement weather.
- Execute additional assigned duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of related construction experience.
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred; candidates without a CDL must complete the Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) program and obtain a learner’s permit within six months of hire.
- Experience operating heavy construction equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, excavators, dozers, and dump trucks.
- Lift up to 75 lbs throughout an 8‑hour workday.
- Stand, walk, stoop, and bend for long periods; work from ladders and overhead.
- Perform duties under adverse weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Driving required as needed.

Employment type:
Employee (Full Time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM). Night or weekend work may be required.
