Summary

The Client Services Manager will support and be an expert on all aspects of corporate partner and premium client servicing. In collaboration with the Director of Partnerships and Premium Seating Manager, the team member plays a key role in creating a great experience for current corporate partners and premium clients. The role offers an annual salary of $50,000–$60,000 and is commission eligible.

Location

This position is located on our Global Partnerships team at The Classic Center & Akins Ford Arena in Athens, GA.

Responsibilities
  • Provide service and support to all corporate partners and premium clients to achieve account satisfaction and retention/contract extension.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects to capitalize on upsell, referral, and other sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Work closely with the Director of Partnerships and Premium Seating Manager to help achieve annual revenue goals for the property.
  • Assist the Premium Seating Manager with selling premium seating, primarily focusing on annual packages for club seats and single‑event suite rentals for hockey games and concerts.
  • Sell premium packages related to special events and concerts.
  • Handle group ticket sales for hockey, family shows, concerts, and theater events.
  • Secure single‑event sponsor ships and one‑off activations.
  • Prospect new leads and conduct cold calls/outreach to secure appointments for open inventory.
  • Serve as the primary premium services manager on duty during Akins Ford Arena events, ensuring all service staff can answer questions and resolve issues.
  • Participate in training premium service team members in Akins Ford Arena guest service training.
  • Be available for select sales presentations when warranted or needed.
  • Service all clients through direct contact, newsletters, corporate partner gatherings, etc.
  • Create new client initiatives to better serve all clients and partners.
  • Assist in designing sales proposals and presentations for potential premium and corporate partners.
  • Work with suite concierges, box office staff, and other internal teams (Event Services, Marketing, Catering, Operations) to ensure superior service and contract fulfillment.
  • Assist with internal communications by coordinating agendas for Department Head Meetings, sharing signed agreements, contracting single‑event rentals, and handling communication with clients leading up to events.
  • Create season recap for corporate partners.
  • Attend local networking events as a venue representative.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience in the marketplace preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing partnership inventory and/or sales agreements.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in sales, public relations, business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Outstanding communication skills essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders, and senior executives.
