Overview

Join Agape Hospice Care Atlanta as a Community Liaison
. The Community Liaison is responsible for leading business development activities to drive admissions and census within an assigned book of business. They will use knowledge, communication skills, and marketing abilities to initiate one-on-one dialog with referral sources, families, and prospective patients to educate them on services offered by the Company. The CL will be the primary face of the Company to referral sources and will develop business plans, marshal the Company's resources to secure growth, build collaboration, and report success against these plans with direction and collaboration from the Director of Business Development.

This is a full-time position Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business development activities to drive admissions and census within an assigned book of business.
  • Initiate one-on-one dialog with referral sources, families, and prospective patients to educate them on services offered by the Company.
  • Serve as the primary face of the Company to referral sources and build collaborative relationships.
  • Develop business plans and marshal Company resources to secure growth.
  • Report progress and results against plans with direction from the Director of Business Development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience in health care marketing, management, or hospice care operations preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
  • Knowledge of the corporate business management process.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
  • Autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of all socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Evidence of patient advocacy.
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Ability to function in a mature, cooperative, and tactful manner with co-workers and all members of the hospice team.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, valid vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
