Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
The primary function of this position is to interface with students, faculty, and staff, while carrying out a variety of key administrative tasks in support of the teaching, research, and service mission of the Department of Romance Languages. Duties include working with Romance Languages study abroad program directors and serving as a point of contact in Gilbert Hall between Romance Languages and the Department of Linguistics and the Institute for Women’s Studies.
This position reports to the Office Manager of the Department of Romance Languages.

- Maintain the appearance of shared spaces, including second‑floor lobbies, the graduate student computer lab, and the department lounge.
- Receive and document reports of building and classroom issues; submit and track FOIT helpdesk tickets and FMD work orders in consultation with the Office Manager.
- Serve as liaison between Gilbert Hall maintenance workers, the building supervisor, and Department of Romance Languages administration.
Percentage of time: 25%
Digital Signage, Bulletin Boards & Materials Production- Manage digital signage displays and bulletin boards throughout Gilbert Hall.
- Utilize the REACH platform to program and update digital displays, collaborating with faculty on display content.
- Create digital and print materials as requested by faculty and Department of Romance Languages administration.
- Monitor Romance Languages bulletin boards on the first, second, and third floors.

Scheduling & Administrative Processes- Manage room reservation requests using 25
Live. - Support coordination of departmental events such as the annual department holiday event, Fall Kick‑off Meeting, and Romance Languages Graduation Ceremony.
- Collect and process Late Adds and Section Changes each semester.
- Prepare the annual inventory for Asset Management.
