Production Student Assistant
At the Performing Arts Center, student production assistants help to play a vital role in ensuring that world‑class events and performances run smoothly, from set‑up to showtime and strike. The tasks vary with each shift, and you may be involved in:
- Setting up lighting
- Setting up microphones and speakers
- Focusing lights
- Assisting with artist entrances and exits
- Running spotlights
- Laying dance flooring
- Providing artist security
- And much more!
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic technical knowledge of lighting, sound, and stage equipment is preferred.
- Reliability, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
