Preferred Qualifications Position SummaryThis position is essential to supporting the daily operations of the faculty and staff based at UGA's Tifton Campus. Under the supervision of the Senior Business Manager, this position provides comprehensive administrative and fiscal support to faculty and staff located on UGA's Tifton Campus. The role serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, customer service, and timely access to information and services.
Key responsibilities include processing purchase orders and invoices, coordinating travel and expense reimbursements, processing payroll, maintaining personnel and financial records, updating departmental databases, and managing incoming calls and messages. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations by ensuring essential business processes are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with institutional standards. By managing routine administrative and financial functions, the position enables faculty and staff to focus on research, teaching, and outreach activities while sustaining operational continuity across the Tifton Campus.
