The City of Athens is accepting applications for seasonal temporary part-time Lifeguard positions. Applicants must be 16 years of age at the time of application. Valid driver’s license or state issued  do not include benefits.

Lifeguards with or without WSI Certification – Season begins around first of May. Current lifeguard certification or ability to obtain; CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification; good communication and interpersonal skills. Water Safety Instructor Certification preferred.

Hourly Rate Dependent on

Experience:

• Lifeguard 1st year $12.00/hr.
• Lifeguard 2nd year $13.50/hr.
• Lifeguard 3rd year $15.50/hr.
