We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer with extensive experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance technologies and demonstrate leadership capabilities.

• Manage and lead maintenance teams to ensure efficient operation of manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Oversee budgets, costing, scheduling, and maintenance KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Prioritize and manage multiple maintenance demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide on-call support to address abnormal or urgent maintenance issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 4 years of leadership or management experience.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical systems, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, robotics, welding, stamping, assembly, conveyors, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of industrial maintenance technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Understanding of automation, robotics, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

• Experience with the Toyota Production System (TPS) is preferred.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with integrated manufacturing or maintenance systems (e.g., Oracle, Kronos, Future
  3).

The position is based in an automotive manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel‑toe shoes, and hearing protection are required in designated areas. The role involves walking, standing, sitting, climbing, and inspecting equipment throughout the plant, with the ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds occasionally. The schedule may include fixed or rotating shifts, with overtime and on‑call flexibility as needed.

Permanent position based out of Athens, AL.

Pay range: $ – $/yr.
