2nd Shift Feed Mill Operator

Overview

We are seeking candidates with technical expertise to join our team as a Feed Mill Technician. This Position will be responsible for the operation of all processing equipment utilized in the production of feed.

• Operate equipment, including receiving, batching, grinding, and pelleting
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
• Complete FDA and production reports
• Maintaining Bio-Security Protocol at all times
• Obtain daily inventories
• Maintain ISO sampling procedures
• Engage in preventative maintenance
• Engage in weekly Plant fumigation
• May perform other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of business English and arithmetic
• Computer literate, experience in keyboard operation, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees
• Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to maintain records and to generate reports that require extreme accuracy
• Ability to operate fork lift
